Hi, I’m Will. I live in Seattle. I am the man behind these photographs. I love life, but most importantly, I love the people in my life.
I haven’t always been a photographer, nor did I take photos growing up. Photography began as an accident on a trip to Seattle with friends in 2005. My friend brought his camera, and somehow i found it in my hands and I documented the trip with many different angles and experiments. When I posted the photos online my friends greeted them with much praise. I eventually bought a DSLR camera, and it all went on from there. I started with youth groups and kids camp and now I am producing material for businesses, musicians, families, and others. Recently relocated and moved to Seattle in late 2010, where photography really started for me I have seen where my artwork has become more about telling the story in front of my camera.
My camera is just a hammer of many tools that I use to share my perspective of the world to you.
I have a background in photography, cinematography, film making, directing, video editing, web design, programming, audio engineering which has allowed me to uniquely produce each and every project. Experienced working with a super minimal set with bands such as To Paint The Sky, This Patch of Sky, Anna Gilbert, Remedios The Beauty, and many more. I have experience working on larger scale productions in Seattle working with companies such as: Digital Kitchen, Vantage Point Productions, 5am productions, and working relationships with many more. I recently started a 14 month internship at Mars Hill Church Downtown Seattle in August 2011, which has helped me fine tuning my story telling and documentary style of film. My ability to tell a story with either still or moving pictures, and my style has motivated this shift is the motivation to turn away from thinking it is all about me.
